ABOUT THE CITY TAVERN
The City Tavern is located in the heart
of the square mile between the grandeur of the City of
London Guildhall and the bustling retail hub of Cheapside.
Comprising
of three fantastic floors, our recently refurbished venue is the perfect place in The City to kick up your heels and have some fun.
The glamorous ground floor with its glistening chandeliers and polished open plan layout is great for impromptu drinks or a lounge in one of our comfy chairs with our finest Illy coffee.
The first floor is now more sophisticated than ever for snappy lunches and after work celebrations. We cater for groups of up to 150 and have everything you need for Quizzes for up to 100.
Ever the popular secret, our roof terrace is the perfect hideaway whatever the weather for a bottle of wine or our famous burger platter.
Our basement games room is just what the Dr. ordered for a bit healthy competition with our two pool tables and two darts boards.
Our Traditional Pub menu is available all day – just
order at the bar, sit back & relax as it is brought
to your table. We also host a fine selection of lagers
including Peroni, Heineken, Stella Artois & Becks
Vier as well as delicious Greene King Ales.
Spaces are available throughout the bar to book for groups big and small.

TAVERN
The City Tavern is the perfect place
for any function, casual, formal, drinks or three course
meals.
Quiz nights for up to 110 people are our speciality
and our late license until 2am – or later on application,
means that your disco can party on later that many other
venues.
You can also book for major sporting events such
as the World Cup Football, Cricket & Rugby.
We have
a function menu that is very adaptable and we can also
provide bespoke catering should you have any special
needs or requirements.
For a really big bash, the whole pub can be hired on
Saturday, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
Our basement games room is also available and as well as corporate team building
events, is perfect for casual drinks, games nights & social
gatherings.

FACILITIES
All bars, or even the whole pub is available
for private hire on weekends.
The ground floor bar has a fantastic plasma screen for
free to air sports viewing.
Our restaurant can hold up to 150 people & has a giant drop
down screen that is compatible with laptops for presentations
or quizzes and you can even plug an I-pod so your own play list can help
you party.
Our radio-mic is also at your disposal with all this
is included with the hire, which is free of charge.
Our basement bar also has pool tables that can be hired free of charge,
dart boards for your exclusive use & a giant television.
