HISTORY
The site of the Old Tea Warehouse is surrounded
by religious history and can be traced back as far as 1592,
where the Creechurch Monastery once stood. Indeed it is said
that upon renovation of the site, old bones were found and the
original East India Co Tea Warehouse was believed to be built
on a graveyard.
Located in EC3 which was the original City of London, often
referred to as the Square Mile, The Old Tea Warehouse was converted
into a pub from an East India Tea Company Warehouse in 1996
and rumour has it that tea was found in the floorboards, used
as insulation!

TESTIMONIALS
Hello,
Just wanted to thank you for the use of your pool room last
Thursday 12th.
It turned out to be a great success and mention has been made
to do it again sometime.
Thanks again.
Jennifer Braney
Hi Richard,
Thank you so much for arranging our area Thursday night.
Great venue topped off an enjoyable night!
Thanks again
Kind regards

Dear Richard,
Just a short note to thank you and your staff for the great
time that Markel International staff had at the party in the
lounge bar on Friday evening. Everyone was very helpful both
before and during the party.
The food was very good and plenty of it so thank you again
for that. Just one thing - of surprise more than anything
- was that none of us had ever come across cooked carrot and
celery as crudités before !
Kind regards
Jeanette
Hi Richard,
I would just like to say a big thank you to all involved in
the arrangements for our Staff Christmas Party on Friday at
the Old Tea Warehouse. It was a lovely evening, enjoyed by
all, it was a great atmosphere and the buffet was great -
so much food.
Once again "Thank you".
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I had the pool room booked for an informal evening last night
to entertain my team. We had a great evening, and your staff
looked after us extremely well, and their whole attitude was
friendly, helpful and considerate. Very refreshing!
Please pass on my thanks to the girls who looked after us.
Oliver
